The Turning Point
What started as pro bono planning evolved into something more. I saw the same challenges across sectors—misalignment, decision paralysis, and a longing for clarity not just in organizations, but in individuals.
And then I walked 100 miles across Spain.
The Camino de Santiago was my reset button. Each step peeled back layers of perfectionism. In the silence, I didn’t find a grand epiphany—I found stillness. Strength. And the conviction that strategy isn’t just for corporations.
It’s for life.
The Story Behind Vainow
From Boardrooms to Purpose
For over two decades, I built my career as a strategist and executive, leading high-stakes transformations in the financial services industry. I managed billion-dollar portfolios, aligned 3,000-person teams, and facilitated enterprise-wide planning for Fortune 500 banks like Fifth Third and Flagstar.
But something deeper was always calling.
While I was optimizing growth strategies by day, I was also serving on nonprofit boards by night. I found myself volunteering my time to lead their strategic planning sessions, applying corporate frameworks to help purpose-driven organizations gain clarity and momentum.
Those nights lit something up in me.
VaiNow is Born
“Vai” is Italian for Go.
“Now” means… stop waiting.
That’s how VaiNow was born. First as a boutique consulting practice for nonprofits and foundations. Then, as a life strategy lab for women—and all individuals—navigating reinvention, transition, or simply seeking peace of mind.
Today, VaiNow bridges two worlds: the discipline of business strategy and the depth of personal transformation. Whether I’m leading a strategic pivot or guiding someone through a life realignment, my mission remains clear:
Help people and organizations move forward—with clarity, courage, and a plan that honors who they are becoming.
